I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much, but it was great!i don't remember reading this but remember liking it a lot. Dang! Baker writes "millenial dialogue" so effortlessly that the characters' conversations don't even sound scripted. The plays are quiet and they are built on myriad silences (I believe this one has a note that says if the play isn't half silences and pauses, you're doing it wrong), but they are impossible to put down and unforgettable.A quite traumatic look at generational divides, the power of work ethic, and the (sometimes flawed) nature of art. Whoops! Silences should last from 5 to 10 seconds. I'm not sure what this silence could be doing. Scripts and rental materials are not included in this estimate.
