The judging is a joke as each is only 1 point shy/higher than the other in every battle. In a professional bakery, he needs to make lots of products on a bigger scale. As seen in their final cakes, both chefs took unique approaches to the last cake.In traditional Buddy fashion, he went huge. If a fun gadget doesn’t work, the overall execution fails. How about average people judge, not one or two chefs. Buddy clearly set the tone for the rest of the show. Buddy acts like an overindulged brat at every step. Season 1 - March 15, 2020 . Some little details might have been off, but each element worked technically (scientifically), the gears moved, the rocket flew, etc. Buddy's cake was I think, too cartoonish for a Car guy who is turning 50. Was this review helpful? Buddy and Duff create mini-golf cakes that golfer Michelle Wie can play. Buddy sucks. I do like Ralph though!!! It has to be scripted with Buddy wining or he would not be part of the show. I'm so disappointed in this new series by Food Network.

Still, he was trying to convey that he is and will always be the Cake Boss.While this cake display captured the imagination and awe that makes science engaging, it is a lot of cake.

We have all been so disappointed at the extreme competitiveness and lack of good sportsmanship. Buddy's cake was bigger, but clearly bigger is not always better. The judges appreciated the effort.Buddy went in a more traditional route. I'm not sure what's up with the judges also.

Buddy always seemed to be arrogant, but once he lost and shrugged off Duff's hand from his shoulder I knew he was going to throw a fit. The judge was partial and the show is rubbish, first episode and I can already sense the rubbish, TLC is trying to make their scores tie so it will be more interesting, well it's not, it's utter rubbish Fail. Time for him to act like one. Again, he really pushed himself in this second to last challenge.

But, there was a six point difference going into this last challenge. The competition series will see "Buddy Valastro (Cake Boss) and Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) face-off in an epic baking battle for the chance to be crowned the undisputed king of cake." I did not tune in, someone else turned it on. The judge considered all elements in the second round which swayed the decision more to Duff. 9 out of 12 found this helpful. duff had his assistant do most the work he just does detail. By 1 point. This time he even delivered on more cake, which has been a criticism in previous challenges. He is mean spirited. His chocolate dessert looked like a small, chocolate wedding cake. If this was just buddy I wouldn't watch. I just wish Buddy didn't throw a fit like a spoiled kid. Like Duff said in the dessert challenge, I don't like loosing but I take it like a man! How NOT to act when you're not the winner. What a terrible idea this show is. It was interactive, crowd pleasing and a creative cake display. What a joke.
