I love this film for it's funny, sad, and thoughtful moments. Rusty Griswold takes his own family on a road trip to "Walley World" in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons. And there's the inherent problem that I've always had with heist movies and that is that the majority of the film is spent planning the damn thing and, honestly, that's never been interesting to me.

The point is that the story should feel relevant and timely, to this day, but it just misses the mark completely. Going in Style absolutely fits into the genre and despite me not being the particular target audience, it was entirely fine. stupidity. Less charming. most definitely.

It's decent, like I said, it's agreeable and the definition of a crowd-pleaser.
